Richmond, B.C. (PGA of BC) – On the first day of the final PGA of BC tournament of the 2016 season, Dave Zibrik (Point Grey Golf & Country Club) fired 6-under 67 to take a 4 stroke lead at the Cleveland Golf/Srixon Canada PGA of BC Championship presented by Club Car.
With a bogey-free round, Zibrik leads the field while five players currently share second place. Host Professional Victor Vianzon (Quilchena Golf & Country Club), Myles Johnson (Spallumcheen Golf & Country Club), Matthew Palsenbarg (Northview Golf Academy), Jeff Wiggins (Mountain View Golf Club), and Murray Poje ( Tsawwassen Springs Golf) head into the second and final round at 2-under 71.
The 2016 PGA of BC Club Professional Championship is a 36-hole stroke play competition that will see competitors battle for a $14,500 purse over two days, with a winner’s share of $2,600.
