Ashlee Claydon started playing golf a little later than most at the age of 20. She turned professional in 2006 and since then has become a member of the Canadian Professional Golfer's Association as a Class A Golf Professional, a TPI Level 3 Golf Fitness Specialist and a member of the BCRPA. Throughout her golf experiences playing on the Canadian Tour, the Australian Tour and participating in the Symetra Tour Qualifying school, she has experienced first hand the importance of fitness as it relates to golf. Ashlee has been a BCRPA certified personal trainer for the last 6 years and has been working as a professional training coach at Innovative Fitness Port Moody since 2011 where she has gained her TPI level 3 designation. The Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) is the world’s leading educational organization and research facility dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. Ashlee's teaching philosophy is based around the TPI principles in that a properly functioning body allows a player to swing the golf club in the most efficient way possible. Any physical limitations in a players body can hinder the way a person swings and potentially lead to injury, which is why a functional body is so important.
