Derek Orr:
Derek’s long career in the world of golf has instilled a strong sense of professional service and deep belief in community enrichment. He has developed and implemented new business and service strategies for global clients, while maintaining a positive reputation among peers and a solid track record in operations management. Having reached the game’s international level, Derek attributes his success to communication and leadership skills. Clients, colleagues, and the competition all value his friendly, uplifting approach to working (and playing) together.

Jeff Palmer:
Jeff Palmer, MAL, attained his Class 'A' over 25 years ago and has held leadership positions in China, Hawaii, Ontario and British Columbia. As the Director of Golf at the Lora Bay Club, Jeff hosted the 2007 World Telus Skins Game and the 2008 and 2009 Nationwide Tour/Wayne Gretzky Celebrity Pro-Am. He also served as the Director of Golf at the Sheshan International Golf Club and hosted the 2010 and 2011 HSBC-WGC Championship. Jeff currently serves as the General Manager at Highland Pacific Golf in Victoria, BC.
A life long learner, Mr. Palmer continually strives to attain knowledge and seeks personal growth. In 2022 Jeff earned his Master's of Arts in Leadership (MAL) from Royal Roads University where he researched the impacts that golf can have on mental health and wrote about finding purpose within organizations. In 2021 Mr. Palmer formed 'Mood Swing Golf' and held the first Mood Swing Golf Invitational aimed at raising awareness for mental health in Victoria. To date Mood Swing Golf has raised over $50, 000 donated to the Canadian Mental Health Association-Victoria. These funds have been used to support CMHA-Victoria's Head Strong Summit which is an annual, full day mental health youth camp for high school students in Victoria. In 2024 Mr. Palmer furthered his purposeful work by raising funds for multiple community organizations through events at Highland Pacific Golf. These events raised funds for Llalmba Canada, Island Prostate Center, Golf for Cancer, Vasculitis Foundation Canada, Vancouver Island Children's Foundation and CMHA-Victoria. Jeff is currently serves as Vice President for the NGCOA -BC Chapter and is the President of the British Columbia Golf Marketing Alliance.
Jeff Palmer is a husband to his wife Karin, father to his 14-year old son, Mack, and still loves to play golf despite not yet finding the perfect putter.

Bio:
Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to experience many different management opportunities within the golf business. During the 22 years, I have been in the industry, I have held many job titles, performed numerous duties, and worked with some great mentors who have helped me grow. These roles include three years as Sales and Events coordinator, six years as Head Professional and five years as a General Manager.
In 2019 I achieved an MBA in Executive Management at Royal Roads University while working full-time, and was the Vancouver Island Executive Professional of the Year.
As a result of these roles and education, I have developed strong performance records in key areas, including the following: Membership, Golf Operations, Event Management, Retail, Food & Beverage, Marketing and Managing Team Members. While GM at Arbutus Ridge, the facility was recognized in 2017 by Tourism Vancouver Island with its inaugural Employer of the Year Award.
Jennifer Greggain - Assistant Coach, Team Canada Women "Coaching Elite Amateurs"
Jennifer Greggain:
Originally from California, Greggain is in her third year with Golf Canada and has held assistant coach roles with the National Junior Squad and Women’s Amateur and Young Pro Squads. Originally from California, she brings a vast playing experience including nine years as a touring professional, with two years on the LPGA. The Vancouver, BC resident is a former British Columbia Golf provincial coach and coach with the University of the Fraser Valley.
Prior to joining Golf Canada, Greggain was the director of instruction at Chilliwack Golf Club and led the B.C. Summer Games Squad on numerous occasions. She’s both TPI and K-Vest certified and completed the University of British Columbia’s Master of High Performance and Technical Leadership program. Greggain is the recipient of the 2018 PGA of Canada Jack McLaughlin Junior Leader of the Year.
The PGA of Canada Class ‘A’ member is also a leader of the Golf Canada and PGA of Canada’s Women in Coaching program.
Greggain is a mother of two and lives in British Columbia with her husband.
